The Gentle Vet was amazing. As a Fear Free Certified professional myself, I am always looking for ways to help my crew feel their best. My senior kitty and I went to The Gentle Vet for the first time today and we had a great experience! We didn’t come across any dogs coming into the building, were greeted right away, and we waited less than a minute to be led into an exam room. Once inside the exam room, I removed the top of his carrier to allow him the opportunity to explore the room and get comfortable. They had a towel covering the exam table to prevent additional fear or stress, had calming music playing, and practiced gentle handling without using any restraint during his exam. He even enjoyed a nice brushing and a tube of Churu! We discussed pain management as I’ve recently noticed some changes in his behavior at home and towards our other cat. They recommended Solensia which is a once a month injection for pain. It eliminates the stress of daily oral medication! When it came time for his blood draw, they coaxed him out from under the chairs instead of forcing him out. They wrapped him in a towel, and even though he was vocalizing, he was eating every bit of his Churu and being a great patient. If your pet doesn’t like the vet, or shows signs of high anxiety, fear, or stress at or on the way to the vet, consider a Fear Free approach by coming here!

We love the staff at The Gentle Vet. My boys have never had such a wonderful experience at any doctors appointments in the past. We highly recommend The Gentle Vet to any and everyone whom love their pets as much as we do.

Gentle Vet was able to see my mom’s cats as new patients on short notice while I was visiting from out of state! Knowledgeable, courteous and friendly staff.

The staff at The Visiting Vet are amazing! My cat, Charlotte got in a fight with her brother, resulting in a pretty nasty bite. They were very gentle with her. Even through shaving, cleaning, and an antibiotic injection, I could tell she felt safe and trusted them. Dr. Faulkner and Olivia are beyond kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable. I am excited to take my other cat children here.

Upon calling the vet because chewy was under the weather the nurse seemed very concerned they set a same day appointment to see him. They treated him like one of their own. If you're looking for a vet that truly cares more about your pet then your wallet I highly recommend visiting vets. They offered many suggestions to help me with his diet health and etc. I have noticed a big change in his eating habits after taking with the staff. Thank You All

We have a rescue boxer puppy named Harper. She is very timid and scared of new people and surroundings. From the moment we walked through the door I knew we found the perfect Vet for her. They came out and moved at her pace and sat on the floor with her. When the Dr entered the room the first thing he did was get on the floor and let her come to him. She had treats and cheese all kinds of goodies for her to warm up to them. Thank you for what you do and how you do it! It was a great experience for not only Harper but for us as well!

The best veterinarian’s I’ve ever been to. Our goldendoodle Molly is absolutely horrified of vets. We take her here and I can’t stress enough how kind, gentle and caring they are with her. They take the time to get her relaxed and give us so much information the visit is not stressful at all for her. Dr. Faulkner is great. He is extremely knowledgeable and compassionate. His assistant is the best (not sure of her name) but she is super friendly, caring, gentle and so knowledgeable too. Actually was a joy taking Molly to visit this time. They definitely live up to their name! Highly recommend.

Just started bringing my guy here. He’s a big pup but scared of so many things and the vet was one of them. The blood draw was a struggle for him, but everyone in the office worked so hard to help him through that. We also have a happy visit scheduled so he can come in and get loved on and start having purely positive experiences at the vet. They offer that for free, which is amazing since it does take time out of their day. I think this place could be a game changer for my guy…and for me! I’m learning so much in these short couple visits that I hope can help me help my pup.

Very informative at providing information on our sweet boy Axel that we adopted through Maggie’s mission. They did all of his vetting prior to adoption and when it came time to provide our local vet with his records they were quick to respond and get the records sent over not only to myself but to the vet as well. Of course, I was running late and called while I was in the waiting room for a scheduled appointment so I was very appreciative and thankful they were able to provide info so quickly. Thank you visiting vet you have helped FOUR of Maggie’s dogs along the way that specifically have made it into their fur-ever home and part of our family that we love dearly. Thanks for all you do!!!

Highly recommend! Dr. Faulkner was a gentleman, thorough, and actually explained everything clearly Gave me handouts which a vet just leaves me googling things. I had Megan for my first time and she walked out calling herself my pup’s “auntie” which was cute and personable sealed the deal for me and addressed my concerns as well. Her and Beth were amazing first try on bloodwork and so patient with my nervous, slightly dramatic dog who tries to bite. A little pricey, but totally worth it for this level of care. The whole staff seems very knowledgeable and I think he puts a lot of trust in them to talk about big things which I have never seen.
